“Minds in Cyprus” is back in the United Kingdom. Following the significant interest generated since the initiative’s launch in May 2025, Invest Cyprus and the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus are co-organising two new events as part of the Government’s Action Plan for the repatriation of talent. The events are supported by the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in the United Kingdom, the Cyprus Trade Centre in London, and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), and will feature the presence of the Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Irene Piki and other key stakeholders.
The aim is to connect skilled Cypriot professionals living and working in the United Kingdom with employment opportunities back in Cyprus. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with companies presenting their career opportunities and the benefits they offer.
The events are structured as follows:
- Birmingham Date and time: Monday, 22 June 2026, 17:00h Location: Macdonald Burlington Hotel
- A networking event and presentation of the “Minds in Cyprus” initiative, designed to introduce the programme to the Cypriot community in the Midlands.
- London Date and time: Tuesday, 23 June 2026, 17:00h Location: The Peninsula Hotel
- A career-focused event with the active participation of companies, who will present their available positions directly to highly qualified professionals seeking opportunities to return to Cyprus.
