Minds in Cyprus” is back in the United Kingdom. Following the significant interest generated since the initiative’s laThe Minds in Cyprus initiative returned to the United Kingdom in June 2026, building on its initial launch and strengthening engagement with the Cypriot diaspora through events held in Birmingham (22 June) and London (23 June).
The London event took the form of a career fair, offering direct interaction between Cypriot professionals and employers, while Birmingham hosted a more targeted roundtable discussion focused on the Cypriot economy.
Participation was strong, with more than 350 Cypriot professionals attending across both events. A total of 24 Cypriot companies and organisations were present, showcasing over 110 high-skilled job opportunities in sectors such as technology, fintech, financial and professional services, research and innovation, and energy.
The events highlighted the growing demand for specialised talent in Cyprus and reinforced the government’s commitment to creating tangible pathways for professionals abroad to return, through targeted incentives, structured opportunities, and practical support mechanisms.
